When a mom contacts you to say she’s expecting baby #7 and she’d love to do a maternity session, just for her – you leap at the chance! When this same mom says she’d like to do an urban shoot, you jump for joy. While I love my rural sessions, urban maternity sessions are always fun adventures.
When we made a date for Rosanne’s session, there was no snow. Approximately a week later we had snow and it was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g! We warmed up in the car before and after the session (to mostly chat all things birth <3). We also moved at a fast pace during our time outside. And survived! I tell women all the time - there's a subconscious to-do list during pregnancy. When you check something off that list, you find yourself thinking: "okay, now the baby can come!". This was one of the things on Rosanne's to-do list. Apparently there were a few other things on that list because it was a few more weeks before we were at her birth!
