Birth is transformative and intense.

And through that experience – at home, in a hospital bed, on a surgical table, in the woods, in the ocean – women learn of their power. This knowledge provides the foundation for their parenting experience for a lifetime. When women are in their 40s, 60s, 90s … they are still telling their birth stories. This is how important this life experience is.

In Northern NY, we have many things to love. Fortunately, that includes a growing birth community. Doulas, midwives, birth circles, prenatal yoga, childbirth education classes – and North Country birth photography are all available in our rural area. It’s exciting to be part of this community supporting families through their journey in parenthood.
